Linet Oy’s aim is a significant position as a supplier of state-of-the art components for the low end fieldbus solutions.
 
The company markets its Linet Light Control Network to manufacturing and engineering customers, primarily the suppliers of building automation and intelligent machines. Linet components are used to connect together a number of electrical devices to make an advanced and flexible local control; remote functions leaning on the same product family can be accomplished through Internet right away. Current applications include, for example, home automation and remote operation of server computers in a computing center. Additionally a wide range of other creative concepts supporting the customer’s own engineering are under development. Linet technology is patented.
 
The Linet Light Control Network is a new, innovative local operational network combining the daily needs of a big variety of users with the modern but proven information technology. The unique advantage of Linet Light Control Network is the ready-to-run functionality in a small-sized IC chip. The customer can use Linet technology in his products without any burden of application software development.This will save up to 75 % of the customers time in the application engineering, resulting in a very short time-to-market and reduced development cost. The high integration level and functionality of the Linet product make it extremely lucrative from the small and mid-sized companies’ point of view wishing to add substantially the value of their product, and to open fast completely new markets for them.
